THANK YOU OAK TREE INN! The West Harrison elementary staff and students would like to thank the Oak Tree Inn in Missouri Valley for its monetary donation to help fund the annual Christmas trip for the elementary students to the Rialto Theatre in Missouri Valley. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. WEST HARRISON ELEMENTARY STUDENTS STAY WARM Thanks to the United Methodist Church in Pisgah, elementary students are staying warm this winter! The congregation does a mitten and hat tree during the holiday season and they generously gave the donations to our elementary students. We received 37 pairs of gloves, 4 mitten and hat sets, and 7 hats. Our students have already put them to good use and the smiles are just as warming as the outerwear. Thank you to the congregation for thinking of us with this generous gift.
ANONYMOUS DONOR FOR WEST HARRISON ELEMENTARY The elementary received $104.00 from a raffle that was conducted at the Jiffy Mart. We plan to use the money to help families with their afternoon milk payment. To whomever you are, thank you very much! BOXTOPS ADD UP! Thanks to everyone's cutting, saving, and turning in skills, we recently received a check for $423.50 from the Boxtops for Education fundraiser. A big thank you goes to Margaret and Lynne Ruffcorn for counting all the boxtops to get the package ready to mail. Thank you to all who contributed and keep cutting and saving!
